No sleep for the weary

My oldest monkey has been in Indianapolis for the past 4 days with her band competition and my youngest has been here with me(sort of...she has been at a friend's house in the neighborhood). I haven't slept more than 4 hours at a time in the past 4 months and I don't really see that changing anytime soon. Right now I am working nights for pay and precepting at night for a school requirement (for free) so my sleep/wake cycle is quite crazy and I don't have any nights off. My children have been rather supportive because they know this is a benefit for all of us, mostly them. School is almost over and I cannot wait for a little more time for ME! Time for me to actually read a regular book, take a run, and do some crafty things like I used to. Marching Band is over now and I don't know what Thing 1 plans on doing for an activity this fall. Thing 2 is done with Football Cheerleading and now she is the Captain of her Basketball Cheerleading squad, so she is super stoked. I am stoked for her and proud of all of her accomplishments. As far as Thing 1, her band did awesome this year! I was not a big fan of Marching Band prior to her joining one, but the time and dedication that it takes to make the beautiful music that they do, is so worth the anticipation. I loved their theme and if I can, I will post some pics eventually :)
